Reyna Unleashed

    Reyna is a young woman of 17.  Reyna is a scholar and an artist living in the land of Anthallia.  In Anthallia women are forbidden from continuing education beyond basic reading, writing and sums and art is viewed as a waste of time and materials.  As a middle child, Reyna is neither the successor to the family business nor the baby of the family.  With her twin brother working hard as their father's apprentice in the bakery and her younger sister excelling in all womanly tasks that Reyna herself finds too trivial and boring to bother with, she has become the family outcast, the troublesome child.  To follow her dreams and to spare her family from further dishonour, Reyna leaves everything she knows  behind in a life-changing decision to disguise herself as a boy in order to flee to Anthallia's neighbouring  country Dellia.  Dellia is a land rumoured to be just and prosperous and, more importantly, to allow women to practice in all trades as men's equals. In this brave tale of a stubborn girl taking her life into her own hands, she will come across the royal family, a quirky, albeit handsome, young man on the run from the Anthallian authorities, a gypsy caravan, a friendly and very helpful crow, and a group of thieves.  

Not sure about the title, but I got some ideas for a story and decided to make a summary and see if it anyone thought it was good. I am open to opinions, comments and suggestions.  Thank you for reading!
